Hello I have recently been given the job of photographer at my work and I am shooting some chandeliers. The problem I am having is the glow around the bulbs. I have a Nikon d300 with a polarizing filter and I am using 14" reflector lights with 500w bulbs. The chandelier photos nicely but the glow around the bulb is bothersome. Does anyone have any ideas about how to correct this problem. Thank you for your time.

It would help if you posted some pictures. Have you tried varying your aperture and shutter speed?

Owning a fast race car does not make one a race car driver. I guess you could say something along those lines about cameras.

Thank you toriaj. I lowered the aperture and shutter speed and it worked nicely. Thanks for the tip.
