I thought I would share some pictures from my recent trip to San Francisco and other points in the Bay Area.

These were mostly shot with my Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm kit lens. I shot the entire vacation in RAW and converted with RAWTherapee.

SpecialK - thanks for sharing your shots. I didn't make it over to the Palace of Fine Arts, but should have.

Also - the "road hazards" are nuts. I've seen them hammering down busy streets like the Great Highway and cutting through traffic around Union Square. Seriously, those things are a death wish.

I should have slapped my CP filter on as well - was extremely bright and sunny...
