Or as Nikon calls them, "micro"(?).
Always trying to improve my photog skills and now that the 17-55mm 2.8 is on the way, well, I just can't sit still. Looking for that next lens to get into the camera bag.
Aside from the obvious bonus of macro/micro photography, what use would a good macro lens be to me? I've heard the Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 (VR and non-VR versions) make a pretty darn good portrait lens.
And any suggestions on which macro lens would be greatly appreciated. Aside from the obvious Nikons (105 & 60mm), I've read good things about the Tokina and Tamron macros. Suggestions? Thanks, D.
