I have a question about camera card reader technology:
As a Mac user, I favor the use of IEEE 1394, aka FireWire. I understand that at least there were FireWire readers in the past. Are there still FireWire readers on the market? If so, do they read SD and SDHC cards, Memory Sticks, etc.?
I'm asking not just from a digital camera perspective, but also from an AVCHD-card-based camcorder as well. Does anyone here know the state of FireWire-based card reader technology today?
Thanks in advance.
