Lost my V550 5v ac adapter. (compatible with most others)

So I have some questions:

I lost the charger. I can buy a new one for around $30 or a battery charger for about $15 (you would have to take the battery out to charge). That would not work with the dock but I never use the dock anyway.

I also have a charger from an old cd player that is 4.5v so 1/2 v lower - not really a concern but it is only 500 mA where I think the V550 requires 2.6Amps. Anyone think this would be safe to use?

Also am I correct to assume the USB connection does not charge?

Just go to KODAK and order the proper items you need and be done with it. What dock do you have maybe I'll buy it from you seeing you do not use it anyway.

Ironically - I found it :)

The dock is the EasyShare Frame Dock 2 - it comes with the V550 insert and I might have an extra insert.
