Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80: microphone?

Is it possible to attach a microphone to the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 to get better audio while creating movies?

Unfortunately, not that I know of. There's no dedicated jack for a mic plug, which is typical of the majority of cameras. I guess the thinking is that if you need high quality audio (with videos?) you're gonna buy a dedicated video camera that does have an external microphone jack.

For adding voice memos, the inbuilt mic should suffice.
