It's not a bad rig at all .... you will need the P20 exteral flash for low light and most indoor shots

It may be helpful for you to do a quick search on this site before asking a multitude of questions about this (or any other) camera, as Jeff carries out very thorough and user-friendly reviews. If you click on the REVIEWS & INF0 link in the menu bar (at the top of this page) it'll take you there.
For Jeff's review on the P850 click on this link: Kodak P850 Review (http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/kodak/p850-review/).
Bear in mind too that the P850 (in Australia, at least) is a discontinued model, but would still make an excellent second-hand buy as its price will be way down now.
Cheers :)

I'd take the time to look over the KODAK Z712is. Low light shots are outstanding as is the IS on the Z712is. You can add a long lens to both.
Z712is and P850 are 36mm wide 432mm long (zoom)
Z812is and Z1012is are 33 wide and 396 long
Z1015 is 28mm wide and 420 long the widest and longest in this group.
I bought my Z712is for $113.71 at
http://stores.ebay.com/Kodak-Outlet
PS: Go ahead ask a multitude of questions, does not bother me. Some will have the answer some will badger you for asking.
Cheers
