What is image size and for normal shooting what should I use?

I'd always tend to use its highest available setting for all shots — 8MP - 3264 x 2448 — as you can never "improve" any of your pics taken at a lower resolution, but you can always downsize bigger images if necessary (eBay, emailing etc).

With the DSC-W150 you can't change the image compression (as in fine, normal,low etc); you can only change its resolution.
