Canon S-1

Does anyone know if Canon will be replacing the current S-1 with a newer model any time soon? The model itself is almost a year old, and spending near $400 for a 3.2 megapixel camera just really throws me off. I really really like the S-1 and would like to get it, but I want at least 4 megapixels for that kinda money.

So does Canon plan on replacing the S-1 with a superior upgraded model in the next few months?

While there has been no formal announcement of a Canon S-1 replacement. A lot bof digital camera observers feel that the next major electronics show may indeed be THE time for Canon to upgrade the Canon S-1.
