I hope you could share with me which presentation works the best. They are all the same flower, taken one right after the other. I'm mostly asking for input into which exposure compliments the subject best. Of course I'll appreciate all feedback on the merit of my work, but again, I'm trying to key in on framing the subject best.....THANKS :)

#3 works best for me. I like closer flower (so it's between #2 or #3), and the extra separation between the background flowers.

Depends on the application. If the shot is to answer "this is what FlowerXYZ looks like", then definitely the top one. Without any cropping of the flower. But if the shot is to provide a graphic element for some layout like a web page, then I prefer the middle one. The bottom one is cropped too tight, leaving the graphic designer no room to fuss.

I like the first most. The others don't have any reasonable background left in my opinion. You don't see the flower itself on the last to images, it's a supersized unnatural image and does not remind you the actual flower any more.
BTW, I hate overuse of macro modes unless you really have to show some microscopic details on purpose :)

I'd have to go #2, actually. I find 3 is cropped a little tight and the background in #1 is a little distracting for the subject (unless that was the point).
