So I developed my first roll today, I put the film on the developing reel last night in the storage room under my stairs. It took me a while today to mix the chemicals. Then the fun part was actually poring in the chemicals, agitating and all that stuff. After that I put them through the scanner and this is what I got!

A little contrast/brightness adjustment in LR and that's it.

I'm gonna guess the exif

All shots taken with my Pentax P30/50mm 2.0 and Kodak T-Max ISO 100 film, developed with Ilford ID-11 powder developer, Ilford fixer and wetting agent. Developed for 7.5 mins @ 23 degrees Celsius.

ISO 100 F16 SS 1/100. Scanned @ 2400 dpi (3344 pixles wide on the long side)

Some nice shots Nick. My favorite is the bucket drummer with the OOF viewers in the foreground.

Nice....!! It would be an interesting to shoot film and digital side by side with the same settings and see how the results compared.

I gotta say you're doing well at keeping dust off the negatives when you scan them. My negative scans usually end up with little artifacts all over the place that I have to touch up.

Did you say you're looking for an enlarger and developing trays now? :)

Thanks fellas.

Epson has this nifty software that removes the dust for me. :)

and yes I have been thinking of enlargers! lol they are so cheap used too.

Oh and you have to check out that drummer....

Cool stuff Nick. I've never developed my own film, but I've always thought about trying it. Maybe I should break out my wife's old film Rebel! :D

Nick,
I was looking at your processing in the first post. Did you use a stop bath between the developer and fixer?

LOL, well I know this is off topic for this forum but I figured you guys would get a kick out of it. I joined a Pentax forum but they seem to have that "film is the only true form of photography" attitude.

You guys know me and I think have a better understanding of where I'm coming from therefore your comments mean more to me.

Ha! I knew you'd be hooked. I have 4 more rolls needing development. One down...3 to go. Great job at scanning. I've heard very nice things about the Epson scanners.

The first time seems like forever with mixing chemicals. I use liquid developers only, mix it one shot, and I can get a roll processed very quickly these days.
