hey-

the focusing screen of my Xti is scratched. I've heard that focusing screens are relatively cheap and I'd get a professional to install it. Anyway, does anyone know where I could buy a focusing screen for my xti, relatively cheap? It can either by the genuine canon one or a third party one as long as the AF points still appear on it.

thanks.

Quite honestly I just would not bother. It's not as if the screen actually does anything.

I replaced my own focusing screen twice (removing dust stuck to it). Make a relatively dust free environment, get some tweezers and clean latex gloves and you're in business. Google how to replace XTi focus screen. It's more educational and much cheaper.
