This survey considers Full Frame sensor lenses. The other survey considers the APS-C sensor-only lenses
If you have purchased a SONY α200, α300, α350 or α700, then you may be wondering what SONY lenses are out there for your camera.
With your help, this survey will help gage how the trend is going among the current forum members.
Please check off the lenses you currently have with your camera system, if they are listed.
See the other survey, also for the remaining zoom lens listing.

Some one must have gotten one of those SONY 75-300mm f/4-5.6 with their new camera purchase. C'mon folks, lets get a head count, eh?

Hi all,
Just registered and filled out the survey. I come from a Contax background hence my choice for Carl Zeiss lenses (only one at the moment, 24-70).
Cheers, Bob.

Hey, thanks for participating, picman. I really wasn't sure how much THIS particular survey would play, because it begins tapping on the elite lenses, but I figured it was worth a peek to see if anyone was into them.
I picked up a KM 24-105mm f/3.5-4.5 "D", over the week, which is the same as the SONY SAL 24105 24-105mm f/3.5-4.5 ... just a different wrapper. It seems to be one of the few "Full Frame" lenses under $500. Shooting it, it has a slight predisposition for Color Aberrations (CAs), but nothing too out of the ordinary. Believe me, I have seen a lot worse on digital sensors.
Anyway, welcome to the SONY DSLR forum and hope so see some of your efforts with that CZ 24-70mm f/2.8.

I actually have the Sony 70-300mm G due to arrive today! So I won't be able to vote in this poll till later today. It's really the first decent quality lense I'll have for my A700. I currently only have the 18-70mm kit :( 2 Promaster lenses (35-80mm, 70-210mm) which actually served me quite well with my Minolta film camera, and a 70-210 Beercan, which, despite hearing good things about it, has been a bit disappointing in the sharpness dept (maybe I just got a poor specimen?). My next lens purchase will probably be the Sony 16-105mm and/or a Tamron 90mm macro, or maybe the Minolta 100mm macro.
I work for a watersports mag and had the new lens coming for a weekend surf shoot which just canceled on me, but at least I'll have more time to get comfortable with the lens. I also ordered the EWA E137 underwater 'bag' housing (which will be more a of a splash guard, actually), so I'll let y'all know how that works out...

A few of us have been eyeing the Tamron 90mm lately and with whatever is going on with Sony and Tamron it is getting hard to find and the price is going up!

I may have to redo this poll, in light of the two news lenses, in Jan 2009.
Don't everyone run out and buy them at once! LOL
