date stamping photos for emailing or printing

I have a canon rebel xti and want to imprint date of photo on the photo when printing or emailing. Does any one know how to do that?

In the Canon P&S line, using the lower resolution size of 1600 x 1200 called "postcard" would allow the option of date stamping the image in the camera. Perhaps that is true on their DSLR's, too.

Canon Zoom Browser software allows printing certain info on pix including the date.

If you only had a few images to do, you could simply put text on them manually with nearly any photo editor.

If you have photoshop, download this and then modify the script to not do a border and place the date instead of the shooting data:

You can run it as a batch on a bunch of files and it will put the date on the photo based on the photo's EXIF data.
