Most people like the Eneloops. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm planning to. Right now I'm using Energizer NiMH.

I bought some Duracell 2000mah long life batteries a couple of months ago.

Rayovac Hybrids. Same tech as the Eneloops, but I can get them dirt-cheap at Wal-Mart ($13 for 4). 1000+ shots on a Powershot S2is, when standard high-cap NiMHs will give me closer to 500.

The problem with standard rechargable batteries is that if you leave them for a couple of weeks they go flat; even if unused. That's what makes Sanyo Eneloop most appealing as it is claimed they retain 85% of power even after one year. They are not more expensive than the Energizers or Duracells either.
So... no more Energizers for me.

I have so many different brands, LOL! I can't remember the brand I currently use, but they're 2600mAh.

Yeah, I use their Imedion low discharge rechargeables. They're great.
