No tripod - was too lazy to carry it with me (now I regreat it)
I wish I had a 70-200 f2.8 L IS for these beautiful landscapes.
Nevertheless, my 17-55 did a great job and I dont regret a penny spent on it :

I wish I had more technique and more of an "art eye" for these awesome landscapes. Im still learing...gotta go back there in a year or 2 to take some pro-looking shots.
BTW...We drove to "Grossglockner" which is almost 4000 meters above sea level. A true test of a car brakes and engine with 18% inclines & declines...sick !
