Here is another attempt at the hunting shack on the bay. I cannot get a day with a good sky.

i got a suggestion for you. go back and look at the first pic you took of this and now look at this one. in a very short space of time your skills have improved 100%. good job Frank.
adding the clouds was a very nice touch.

Thanks Rooz
Practice makes perfect and all the helpfrom everybody on these forums. Plus I only took about 6000 images since then. That was one of the very first pictures I took when I got my camera.

The perfection of art:
Look at it, then do it.
Way to improve!
BTW: That shack looks like the hunters found something in it ... and had at it! LOL

The far upper left hand corner of the roof against the sky has some issues there, but other wise a pretty good job! I feel your pain though, we have white skies where I live more often than not....it does not inspire one to go out shooting. LOL

Nice shot Don. Did you take different exposures to try a HDR?

Yeah, but HDR has a real issue with a moving sky. The clouds look like hell, because they do not line up with one another, the image also looks rather flat ... I tried and tried to play with it, but without significant cropping and all that ... there are no shadows to recover ... and perhaps the highlights could be more controlled ... you can do that with selection edits.
Being all reflective windows ... the sparkle is the biggest attraction to this building. HDR just about neutralizes that aspect.
