With a little P.P. and some cropping, Afternoon in the wife's garden with the
a700 and the Tamron 70-30 both in macro. All shots handheld, man I have gotta lay off the coffee!!

Did you PS any of these? They don't look sharp. It can be because you didn't use a tripod.

no tripod, seeing what I could do with the lens and camera, I am sure tripod or monopod would help a lot, have monopod. very little PS cropped some contrast, darkended a bit of light, lightened a bit of dark, all very very basic as I am even more of a novice there then with DSLR. my daughter is the one with some nice production skills in photo and video..........damn kids today:D
also only flipped the switch on the lens, and set camera to macro, no other adjustments made, I'm still learning, This is one tough hobby to learn, but it sure is fun!!

Wow these are great, esp for handheld.... you really hand held it at 200-300mm (because you mentioned macro settings on the lens)? I guess it was bright, haha :D
