I have had a dilemma for a while now.
My Manfrotto monopod has a QR plate but my tripod does not so whenever I use the tripod I take the QR plate off my camera and use the traditional screw mount to secure the base of the camera to the tripod. It's a bit of a pain but it doesn't happen that often and "one day" I intended to buy a new head for the tripod that has a QR plate fitting.
This morning I wandered into a camera shop (punishment for my son for making me take him to purchase a new XBox controller across the road) and I found

It adapts a traditional screw head tripod to a QR. What a great find and worthwhile for anybody who has a screw head tripod and wants something easier to use.
I'm happy (and so is my son, guess what he is doing at the moment. :) )
