what is it called when the something in the foreground is blurry as well as the background??

Frank, if you get your hands on a SONY SAL STF 135mm f/2.8 (Manual focus only), you will find a lens that gives portrait creativity a new slant with bokeh. Definitely worth a look-see, if you get a chance.

Don that lens on Ebay is about $1200.00 for that kind of cash it better come with a female model. LOL

Again, excellent glass costs you coin.

I am currently discussing the virtues of this lens with "fother" ... basically, because he specializes his shooting with it. I figure if anyone could tell me whether or not it was worth the "extra coin" ... he'd be the guy. It is actually $200 less than the CZ 135mm f/1.8
