Canon EOS 1D Mark III on microsoft Surface

I work in a small startup in bay area. They recently got microsoft's surface

computer. Surface supports Data transfer from a digital camera just by

laying the camera on it.
I was wondering whether or not Microsoft Surface would support
Canon EOS 1D Mark III

Unless there's been a major breakthrough I've missed, the camera will need to be able to talk to the surface for photo transfer - And since I doubt the Mark III has anything of that nature, it probably won't work. I suppose if you could get something similar to they eye-fi cards or however you spell them it might be able to pick it up...
