I searched a bit and couldn't find anything on the subject so I started a thread. If there is already one out there point me to it and i'll post there.
I found a few tuts online and an action for photoshop that takes all the work out of it. I gave it a whirl and here are my results, get out the 3D glasses if you've got em'!! Does anyone else do any 3 Dimensional pictures? I'd love to see some better examples than mine. Thanks for looking!

we went to see "Meet the Robinsons" in 3D when it was out...(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meet_the_Robinsons)...they didn't give you those old cheap 3D glasses...they were hard plastic and actually quite nice...so we kept them just in case there are other 3D movies..we'll have the nice glasses...

Cyberpac: What kind of glasses are they? They have to be the old Red/Blue or Red/Cyan kind. Red should be on the left eye. If that doesn't work then maybe the shade of color makes a difference but it works fine with mine.
Phill: I'm not sure where to buy them. I took my nephew to the movies the other day and on the snack box that I got him was a pair. The box had a few 3-D pics on it. I decided to try and make my own after seeing that and this is what I have so far. I would say you could try a book store, maybe in the kids section they might have 3-D books that come with the glasses. You can make your own, so i've read, out of blue and red transparency paper. I think they sell the color kinds at office depot and places like that. At least for my pictures the red should be on the left eye, so keep that in mind.
There are other methods of making 3-D movies and pictures, including polarization and one method called pulfrich I think, that uses one dark and one light lens. It makes one image reach the brain slower creating the 3-d effect. I think it mainly works only on television sets though. Thats all I really know about the subject for the most part. I'm sure I can find a better explaination on the web and link it here if anyone is interested.

Ahh I see. Those look to be the polarized type like you get at universal. They won't work too well with my pictures. Mine work off the red and blue channels. The Red/Blue glasses basically filter one pic in each eye, forcing you to cross your eyes. That merges the two images into one 3-D image. Sort of how those 3-D posters work except instead of having to cross your eyes the glasses do the work for you.
I probably should have specified that from the start since there are so many different types.
