So my canon 28-105mm mk II just randomly quit focusing today when i picked it up this morning to do some shooting. The AF is stuck and will only lock focus if the subject is in focus where the lens seems to be stuck. If that makes sense... Like the focus is stuck in one spot. And when I turn the MF ring nothing changes and the little distance window on the lens doesn't move.
Any suggestions or ideas as to how to fix it? Or where to go/who to ask to get it fixed?
I ordered it from Samys around Christmas time last year and haven't dropped it or beaten it up at all. And I don't have a warranty on it :(
