I recently dropped my beloved Fuji Finepix f31fd in a lake.

Before I spend twice what the f31 cost new to buy a used one, have any of the new P & S cameras caught up to the fuji f30's in terms of low light capability?

this is what I liked about the f31:

great low light sensitivity ( I never use flash)
pocketable size
long battery life ( I can leave the charger at home when on vacation)

any cameras under $350 that are comparable?

Fuji's F100FD is fairly good in the high ISO's. It does not have shutter and aperture priority like in the F31FD, but it has a Program mode, where you can alter the EV, but Aperture and Shutter speed are set automatically.
