I took some photos of a mate's pub and he wants to frame one of the shots and hang it in the bar. I'm going to put my name on it for some credit, but I need some suggestions about how to go about doing this. I can put my signature right on the photo before printing, or I can put it on the matte some how while it's being framed. What about a little tag hung separately under the frame? What are some suggestions from people who have done this before? Any ideas would be great. Cheers.

There's really no hard and fast rule for this, but my suggestion is:
Your signature and the year in pencil on the mat just below the lower right corner of the photo, pretty small. A smallish card with your name and contact info on the wall next to or just below the framed photo.

I usually give it a title and put it at the bottom right of the image, in white with a black shadow. This looks good and stands out.
You can put a digital signature on your photo through Photo Shop. You sign your name on a blank paper, scan it, and make it a brush stroke.

Thanks for the advice so far. I really appreciate it. Definitely, some contact info will be worth throwing in there as well. Cheers.
