I currently download my photos from my canon camera into zoombrowser which also copies them to my mypictures folder. So I essentially have them in two places on my computer. When I delete a photo out of zoombrowser it also delets it out of mypictures.

My question is how do I disconnect the two? When I download I only want it to go to zoombrowser and if i want to delete a photo in zoombrowser i don't want it deleted in my mypictures folder.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

That's how a folder works - the picture is contained in "My Pictures". You are looking at the files through Zoombrowser, they don't exist in two places.

When you view them in Zoombrowser, they have to physically reside somewhere - in your case that place is My Pictures.

How do I get rid of zoombrowser without deleting the pics in my mypictures folder? Can I simply uninstall it? Thanks.

Yes, you can simply uninstall the program. You can also just choose not to use zoombrowser to open your pictures. Any photo browser can be set as the default to view your pictures.
