I plan to get a Sigma SD14, any advise on what lens i should get? Am thinking of something like the Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX VR Wide Angle Telephoto Zoom.
Thank you very much.

Oh, found this Sigma Lens, Sigma Zoom Super Wide Angle 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS (Optical Stabilizer) Lens (Nikon F).
Any comments on this lense?
I like to take pictures of nature scenery, animals from a distance and colourful buildings.
Thank you.

I use the Sigma 18-200mm on my Canon. Its not a brilliant lens but gets work done for me as a single lens solution though if you don't mind changing lens then I'd ask you to look at some other lens.

Try the new Sigma 50/1.4. This is an excellent lens. But obviously no zoom. The 18-200 OS is very good, but not in the league of the 50/1.4

Hi,
I am new in this forum. I have Sigma SD14 (with 18-200mm lens) for about 9 months and I am happy with it. But I need to have better pictures (mainly sharpness and CA) for indoor pics. I am planning to add a prime lens and considering 50mm f/1.4 and 30mm f/1.4. Can you give me some suggestions which is is better OR if I can use other lens (from other brand(s) that fits SD14 without adopter)?
Thank you all in advance. Have a great Christmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR.
