S7000 to be discontinued?

I've heard that the S7000 might be discontinued for many months now, but it hasn't actually happened.

A friend pointed me to this blog from Australia - camerasecrets.blogspot.com.

Can anybody else shed some light on this? Should I hang out for Fuji's replacement?
