Thanks Adam. Nick, I was only about 100 km outside of San Jose on the Pacific coast side for the first week. After that we headed deep into the jungle away from the coast for 4 days before having to find civilization after my friend got bit. I've been other places in South and Central America but the biodiversity in CR has to be the most spectacular. I hope to go back next year if time allows.

CR is an incredible place. I've got to get back there someday. I remember seeing a train of leafcutter ants crossing the trail in front of us and was simply amazed at seeing them in person. And being scared shitless by the sound of a Howler monkey, not knowing what the Hell it was!! :D

Love the snake by the way.
