Yesterday afternoon near 6:00 I decided it was time to trim one of my bushes by the neighbor's fence. I had been noticing a Mockingbird going in and out a few times some days before and decided I'd best check for a possible nest before breaking out the electric hedge trimmer. Sure enough as I approached, a Mockingbird appeared about 30 feet away and was scoping me out. I moved some small branches out of the way to gain a peek inside and voila!! There was a tiny bird with soft feathers without his eyes open sticking his long neck in the air to accept what he that was supper from Mom. I managed to go back in the house and get the S5 and get a couple of quick pics before Mom decided she had seen enough of me hovering over her home and attack. These two photos were the result.
