i think you will need some sort of adaptor/ transformer for the power tyb.

hmmm. I think I might buy one for the sake of getting such a good price. I wonder if the battery is the same as the US models. In theory, I should be able use the charger from my 5d to charge it and not buy an adapter all together.

For Aussie (Sydney) buyers, you can get it for $1,225 from D-D-Photographics and deal face to face with the seller. I'd prefer to spend the extra $70 and have an easier time following up on warranty claims.
