I've owned the DX6490 for about a year now and it's been a good companion for me. My only gripes were that the low light pictures were difficult to take without a tripod. Recently, I seem to have lost that camera and I'm considering buying the 5.0MP version. My question is this. Other than the increase in megapixels, are there any other improvements to this camera? How is the night/low light pictures with the camera?
PS: I actually purchased the Canon Digital Rebel SLR...just pure awesomeness. Unfortunately, that camera is just waaaay too big to walk around with. As nice as it is, I just don't need that much camera. So, it's going back and I'm missing how easy it was to use the Kodak camera.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
PSS: Here are two pic I took with the 6490. Notice how sharp the second picture is and the dullness of the first indoor low lighting pic. I usually just point and shoot. The second picture was taken with a Kodak tripod.
