Any opinions on Nikon Coolpix P80?

Hello, everybody.

I am looking for a P&S digital camera for my sister. I prefer to go with Nikon since I own Nikon D50 and I really like it. The P&S that I was looking for is actually the latest one from Nikon - Nikon Coolpix P80. Since is brand new I can't really find much reviews so I'm wondering if any of you, guys, have it and what is your opinion? Would you reccommend it or give me any other suggestions for a good quality P&S digital camera? My budget is $300-$400.

No opinions since it's too new. Wait til you see some reviews. Please fill out the form so we know more what you are looking for (size, zoom, etc.) How experienced is your sister? I wish my sister bought me $400 gifts.

Agree with bascom. Plus, will your sister really be happy with a camera so big that it needs a camera bag? For many P&S fans convenience is a major factor. Which often means a camera that is at least compact enough to carry in a purse or jacket pocket.
