Need Help with SD Card

I have a 1GB SD card that has some great pictures (taken with my LUMIX FZ20) of my daughter's soccer team, I can view them on the camera, but when I put the SD card in my laptop or connect the camera to any other computer, I can't find the pictures.

My Computer shows an EMPTY folder titled "MISC" and a shortcut item (that does not work) but no other folders and NO PICTURES! But they are there and I can view them on the camera.

I appreciate any help someone can give me. Thanks!

I didn't see the post elsewhere so I will answer here.
The card is possibly corrupted.
The first thing to do is DO NOT put the card back in the camera or try to delete any images or for that matter try to add any images.
Download one or several of the many data recovery programs that you will find by using Google.
Use the program to recover the images from the card onto your PC.
As a place to start I have had a lot of success with this free software (http://www.artplus.hr/adapps/eng/dpr.htm).
