Hi

I understand that the fuji S7000 had a high power usage, and this was rectified later does anyone know the first serial No of camera`s not to have this problem ??

Sorry no one answered this post, and I don't know the answer to this either. But if you go to the regular Fuji forum (not dSLR) you may get a faster answer. There are very few participants that own Fuji dSLR's so not many venture here (S7000 is not a dSLR, but an all-in-one).

Please make sure that you erase this post when you repost to the other forum.

I have used one and find it works very well with 2300 or 2400 mAh batteries.
Just pick up a few sets and keep them topped up.

A rough guess using 2300's is around 200-250 pictures using flash now and again.
