So Im helping a friend find her first DSLR camera, and it is proving to be very difficult, to say the least.
However, while cruising Amazon.com I came across a sweet deal on a D50 that I thought I would share with you guys and gals. Ya know, just incase anyone was looking into getting a second body.

Oh wait, I found a better one:

Boy did I sell my D50 for CHEAP if they are getting prices like this for them. Im such a fool.
So lets continue the discussion by having a quick peek at the Reseller Ratings for that vendor (http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Wall_Street_Photo).
Surprisingly there isn't one. Maybe nobody has purchased from them.
I wonder why?

I really hope your joking...Those are ridiculous prices and I'd hope nobody would buy those two cameras even if the D50s are brand new. Those lenses are really cheap. I sold my D50 used with 8000 shutter actuations with 18-55mm kit lens (no VR) with a memory card, nikon bag, and all accessories for like 450$ to my friend and that was the most expensive I could push it. For 2,479$ is idiotic. I bought all my equipment for no less than 1500$ NEW!

Well, of course it was intended to be a joke. I just thought you could all use a good laugh today.
I too sold my D50 setup for dirt cheap, and Im now kicking myself for it, as it was a great starter setup, and it could have gone to her instead of the dude I sold it to. Now I have to try and find a similar deal to that, but finding D50's at reputable vendors ain't easy.
Maybe the deal will be that when you order they will tell you that the D50 is out of stock and they can sell you a D300 for only $100 more. :D
Seriously, I would be surprised if you can find a new D50 anywhere it's getting on for 18 months since production stopped.
