my sister bought new canon powershot a75 and she wants to buy a higher Compact flash card, either 1 GB by sandisk or 512 by lexar or 512 by ultra.. tell me whats difference between the 3 in terms of speed and resolution.. :) ;) :(

The difference is purely technical (and in price). The 1gb will allow her to take approximately 900 photos. The 512 will allow her to take approximately half that.

I'd say buy a 256 and be happy with that. You don't need high-speed cards.

I have a camera of the same megapixel rating and find 256 and 128mb cards are ample.
