There was this online competition at a local photography club that was giving away a wildlife safari trip to South Africa as its first price. This is what the photograph had to be about :
We have all fallen for the voice on the radio. Our faceless friend is there when we wake up, with us on the drive to and from work, makes us laugh and gets us thinking.
Have you ever created a picture in your mind to match that voice and personality of your favourite radio DJ only to be bitterly disappointed to find in reality that your dreamy George Clooney or sultry Catherine Zeta Jones voice has the face of Mr McGoo (yes both of them!). Suddenly it all makes sense. If they were entertaining and good looking they would have been on TV.
Some faces are just built for radio and we want to see them all!
Take a photo of any face that you think is ideally suited to a career in radio. And it doesn’t have to a person. Let your imagination run wild. An animal, the ugliest stuffed toy you have ever seen, an object, whatever………
Your entry can be just as you took it, you can manipulate it, distort it, add things to it, compile it from a number of different images, the choice is yours.
And this is what I came up with... :o

Now I was only able to upload the first one as the competition weirdly closed before the specified time.
Anyway just thought I'd ask you guys what you think of my effort....
Note: I just like the idea of making them look like stamps...don't ask me why!!! :o
