I enjoyed your kids sports photos. I'm surprised there aren't more posted by others.

I've been wandering here and there snapping photos of almost everything with my new camera. Today I stopped at a high school softball game and captured a few (I think) decent shots for being new to this camera (Fuji S700). I especially like the pitcher's shadow effect. Got lucky with that one.

There is some blur in the pitcher's glove and forward foot. Any suggestions on how to sharpen just those two sections up for someone who doesn't know much about post processing? Thanks...

cmaw63 - i like the pitching shot, too. I am pretty new to taking digital photos, so i dont much advice to give. (sorry)
You can check out the Fugi forum. I have an Olympus E-500 DSLR, and got some really good tips from reading over the Olympus forums.
I have a sports setting on my camera and it does pretty good at catching the action without much blur, but increasing the shutter speed and boosting the ISO have helped alot.

we dont get that kind of snow here in the Southern U.S. very often. I'd love to take some ski/snowboarding shots.
