Call the seller and ask them why a refurb "direct from Canon" only has a 90 day warranty--a factory refurb should have the same warranty as brand-new, which I think is 1 year.

Adam-
I have purchased a lot of frefurbished cameras, and to my knowledge, only Kodak ofers a full 1 year guarantee on their refurbished cameras. The last canon refurb that I purchased came with a 90 day guarantee, as did a Nikon D-50 form Nikon. Olympus also only offers a 90 day guarantee on their refurbished cameras.
So the guarantee period is something that you seriously have to weigh, before deciding.

I guess I was confused. When I've bought refurb from Apple and Epson, the warranty has always been 1 year--the same as new. I assumed that was standard. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy genuine factory refurbished items. I've done it many times.
