Here are three images, not artistically interesting, but showing the quality one gets from the 14-42mm lens.
The first shows good detail in the weathered wood fence and even the whiskers on the dog.

The next two show IS at work. The first at 1/15 sec, the second at 1/3 second where a fidgety boy and low light still allow a fairly good pic.

I love this camera.

I'm not sure what you want to show with these images, but they're not sharp enough to print. They certainly don't show the quality that the 14-42mm has.

Sorry that I did not explain better. Yes, of course, the lens can do better!
I was playing with IS and was amazed at the amount of stabilization that was achieved.
To take a shot of an active child at 1/3 sec shutter speed and have it turn out well enough to rival many a point and shoot at 1/100 sec seemed worth showing.
No, I did not expect 16x20 prints, but at 4x6 in a family album, I have seen many worse shots.

Not sharp enough to print depends upon your viewpoint. The top photo of the dog has been successfully printed.

They work for me even with a touch of softness from motion blur. Kids don't sit still. Even without a camera they always seem to be a blur. Clean up the color a bit and you have fine hand out prints for the family and friends.
