This is a 100% crop saved from Irfanview at 90% quality jpeg. The camera was set on top of my car so I am fairly sure there is no camera shake. IS at setting 2.

I have a problem both with the image softness and the noise. Are you getting better results with your FZ-20?

I am viewing this on a DELL 2000fp LCD. (I am hoping I am not making a fool of myself here. The desktop is set at 32 bits. I think the panel can display16 million colors)

If you looked at a photo from a Canon 20D it would look much the same at that size.
It does not make any difference what the photo looks like at 26 X 35 inches.
This is the same photo with nothing done but resized.
