What camera?

I am looking for a SLR-like, large zoom (10x), high quality camera something like Minolta DiMAGE Z2. But can someone recommend me a better one?

I personally would give some consideration to the Panasonic FZ series of long zoom digital cameras. They are highly rated, they have stabilization, and the F2.8 aperture is available thoughout the entire zoom range.
