I was wondering if anyone on here can direct me to a repair person/site/shop where I could get my v570 fixed reasonably, meaning, for less than a new one cost, about $150. Basically, I lost the charger, bought one on ebay (BAD idea) and it was the wrong one, and fried my camera. I could smell that electronic burning smell instantly. Anyone know of a forum meber or site? Shoot, I am a huge DIYer, if someone could just help me find the board that'd be great, I can't even locate that online anywhere.

Your chances of fixing that cameras are slim. They simply aren't designed to be fixed economically. The best source of a good board would be a working v570, and at that point you could just use it instead.
