Thank you so much. Ordered it. :)
I dont mean to rain on anyones parade, but wy would you re-order a lens cap with no tether? Which is why you lost it the first time. Got to Adorama (http://www.adorama.com) and search 72mm lense cap. Theyve got some. I would cancel your Panasonic order if I were you!

How did you order the remote shudder control when they're backordered until 2/17/05, according to the Panasonic website??

I solved the problem of loosing the lens cap by dismantling the cap. In the middle of the cap inside there is a small screw. Removing this allows you to split the cap into two pieces. I drilled a small hole in the outside cap section and attached a small nylon cord oround 1.5mm dia through the hole. Just make sure where you drill the hole dosn't interfere with the mechanism. I then attached the cord to the camera body where the carry strap goes on. In my case I used a small cord whic I had access to that held the lens cap onto a Data/video projector. It works a treat. I had previously used this method on a Kodak DC4800 camera. I cannot understand why some camera manufacturers do not thther the lens cap.

I cannot understand why Panasonic would include a lens cap tether with the FZ3 but not the FZ20.
