View Full Version : Yet another online photo site - Adobe Photoshop Express
Brought to you by Adobe.
www.photoshop.com/express/ (http://www.photoshop.com/express/)
It appears to be Flash based by I guess that being run by Adobe there may ultimately be some integration with the Photoshop family of products.
Apart from anything else there is another 2GB of free online storage for people if they want it.
Note: Read the T's and C's before you sign up. Don't blame me if you don't.

;) Beaten to it. But yea, the terms and conditions drop a horrendus bomb on anyone smart enough to read them.
Adobe have already acknowledged that their T's and C's were restrictive and plain wrong. They have also acknowledged that they are going to change the to more represent something fair.
The really interesting thing is the Adobe have seen the necessity to do this (site) at all. Are they worried about Flickr et al or is there some form of web integration with Adobe products being planned that will link what appear to be disparate products into a cohesive group?

Someone @ Adobe had an epiphany and realized they had missed the boat :p

I just started using their express site and am looking forward to 2gb of free storage. Also, I've got 1gb free at phanfare.com which is a nice storage site, too.
I have copied some photos across from Flickr to see how it works.
Because it's Flash based what we laughingly call broadband in Australia has some issues with speed but the slide show features are very nice and you can create slide shows that can be embedded in other sites which is kind of neat.
I suspect it's Abodes way of retaining their customer base.
