Hi

just bought an E510 and have been playing with it for the first time. One thing I noticed, that I've not read about anywhere, is that when I turn off the power, the camera judders for a fraction of a second, as if something is vibrating inside. This does not seem to relate to the sensor cleaning system, which operates on start up. Can anyone advise what the camera is doing and whether it should be doing it?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Welcome to the Oly club. The vibration you are experiencing is normal. It is the image stabilization parking itself. Turn off IS before shutdown and it won't do this. As a side note, try loading the manual in pdf format and use the binoc's to find specific info at a much bigger print. It's helped me greatly.

And here's a link to setting up your 510 settings with the reasoning behind each one:

Hope this helps, keep posting!
