She was a grand barn, just a few decades ago.
She had windows aplenty, so all the ladies had views to enjoy while milking.
She held her feed dry, and warm, and provided a universe of untold imagination, for those young at heart, romping in her loft, till they exhausted to napping, in the safety of her love.
Sadly, as she still stands as part of scene with her snow-capped friends, her pasture turned bramble, knowing fair well it will be just a matter of time....
Till those winds tumbling down from their winter pinnacles, will take her to her knees, and ruin....
Look now, quickly....
Remember her as she sags from time, but too.....look closely, listen,
Imagine what really was, for that will always be....
forever.
