Of course it's a scam. Just check the price at somewhere known to be reputable (http://www.buydig.com/shop/product.aspx?omid=122&utm_id=17&ref=pricegrabber&utm_source=PriceGrabber&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=NKD300&sku=NKD300). Or you can look it up on resellerratings (http://www.resellerratings.com/store/1_Way_Photo).

Anyone's first indication of a scam should be the tremendous desire to post a "is this a scam' thread on any forum......... :)
The Buydig link posted above is extremely reputable.
If it's more than 10-15% cheaper than Ritz or Amazon then yes you can bet your boots that it's some kind of scam.

Yes but if it's more than 10-15% cheaper then it is most likely a scam. If you look at B&H prices then you'll pretty much be rock bottom of the genuine prices.

Why's it a scam? There's a lot of sites when you search for D300 prices that come up in this range of pricing.

ChrisBecause they are all scams...but, get scammed if you like...it's your money...;)
There are only a very few reputable, reliable non-scam dealers in the entire world that offer competitive prices. That's it. Most have been already mentioned.

How are they scams though? Are they used, refurbished, never gonna send the product, or what?

0.64/10...
Wow
0.64/10...
WowAnd, that 0.64 only represents the positive things that they said about themselves! So, it's zero...because they are not a legitimate business at all. What is amazing is that criminals can openly operate like this and our government can do nothing to stop it....wait...that's because they're criminals too! :D

I think the government is more like a pimp and you know what that makes most of us :D;). I mean, we do the work, they take most of the money and there ain't sh!t you can do.

Yes you can. You have the power to stop giving the government money and make them give you money instead. Just walk out of everything down to skid row and join everybody else that decided they don't want to contribute toward a system that seems to work.

When did this thread turn quite so political?
When did this thread turn quite so political?Government allowing criminals to openly rip people off...either by lack of legislation or lack of enforcement is a ultimately political problem, don't you think? It's not like we can go to these businesses and administer justice ourselves...

Yep-sounds like my brother. He's been on the government teat for about twenty years now and still receives while I'm up at 4:30am each day actually working for a living.

Part of the problem is that wages are so low for some people that welfare is an attractive alternative. It's not that welfare is better but as an example, I saw in Britain, welfare recipients were getting $120 a week. The lowest waged job was bringing in maybe $200 a week. Out of the low-waged job there were work expenses such as travel to work. At $7 per day (the cost of most busfares) that left them with $35 eaten away out of that $200, leaving them with $165 or $45 better off than they would be on welfare. They often said "why should I work 40 hours to get $45 when I can stay in bed all day for $200 a week?"
At the end of the day, if they work 40 hours a week for 40 years or stay in bed for 40 years, their state pension will be exactly the same.
