I am looking to make my first digital camera purchase and have been doing some research on Canon cameras and am trying to narrow things down between the Canon A95, SD300, or S500...
I am looking for advice as to which camera would give me the most bang for the buck (all are priced relatively equal $300-330).
Or...would anyone reccomend a similar priced camera that you think is better?
Please help!
Thank you!!!

If smallness is a priority item, then check out the SD-300. It is a newer design and smaller with less electronic noise than ths S-400/410/500 digital cameras.
The A-95 is an excellent digital camera, though a bit larger physically.

If you want features such as conversion lenses and more manual controls, choose the A95. The A95 is a little larger but has more.
If you want a camera which you can carry around easily (And can do movies at 60 fps  ), choose the SD300. The SD 300 is the smallest camera with the largest LCD compared to the A95 and S500.
Nope, not the S500. I own an S500 and it's quite good but new models of the 100's series usually come out at this time of year (Feb - Apr). So it's best you wait for the S600.

I agree with that people have said up to now... It mostly depends on what you need and what you want to do with the cameras...
I own the A95 and find it is perfect for my needs, takes superb photo quality, everything... but some persons(not me) find it heavy and bulky... I, on the other hand, bought it because it wasn't too small nor too light for me...
